Establishing East Carolina Doulas, LLC has been an awarding and humbling experience. I am thrilled to share more about providing doula services, establishing a doula collective, and launching this website.​

 

I was born and raised in ENC, and while moving back to the area, I reflected deeply on how I could leverage my skills and professional training to meet a community need. I discovered that there is a small, but mighty number of doulas who provide services east of I-95. Many lack visibility and focus on birth work - a critical need in our community.

 

Their work deserves to be AMPLIFIED, and our community needs greater access to comprehensive doula services. Not all reproductive journeys are the same, and many who experience infertility or are adopting/fostering, for example, lack the support they need. It has been an honor and joy to doula families across the US, and my enthusiasm has only deepened as I work towards offering comprehensive doula services and co-creating a more public-facing, doula collaborative in ENC.​

 

Currently, I am focused on enhancing my network in the area and reaching out to individuals and organizations interested in collaborating with East Carolina Doulas, LLC. Whether you are seeking community, doula support, or membership in this collaborative, I invite you to connect.​

 

I am also seeking help in various aspects crucial to the success of this doula collaborative (Examples: legal, marketing, or business services). If you or someone you know has the skills, expertise, or resources to contribute, please contact me. I appreciate your support.

 

My vision is for this website to serve as a hub for the ENC doula community, offering not only essential doula services but also valuable educational resources and opportunities to connect more intentionally and authentically with one another.
